Amy Genser, a Connecticut-based artist, skillfully combines papers through cutting, rolling, and layering, creating colorful and textured artworks that are incredibly unique. Amy's journey with paper began in 2000 when she enrolled in a paper-making class at the Rhode Island School of Design. This experience ignited her passion for paper, setting her on a creative path that has come to define her identity as an artist. Amy resides in West Hartford, CT, with her family, and her summers are enriched by the allure of the Rhode Island coast, which serves as a wellspring of inspiration and enriches the narratives woven into her art.
